Bing teaches a workshop on "My Heart Will Go On" from the film "Titanic." Using both piano and mountain dulcimer, he sheds some light on the mysteries of arranging while throwing in some music theory elements for transposing, explaining chord progressions and then working through the piece.
With two shows in New York City, Bing travels by PATH from New Jersey into Manhattan and performs his first NYC shows at the Shrine World in Harlem and at The People's Voice Cafe in Manhattan. Songs include a tribute to Leadbelly, "Never Too Late" and "Hopi Opa Groove Machine."
From Black Mountain, North Carolina, Bing Futch takes a look around the town and presents a quick workshop on playing "Black Mountain Rag" in the keys of D and A. Mountain dulcimer tuning for this episode is DAD.
