California Dreamin'. This is a special episode of Dulcimerica. I head out to California for Redwood Dulcimer Day and meet two of my heroes; Neal Hellman and Michael Rugg. In my old stomping grounds during formative years, a revisiting of not only the feeling of that time, but the music that I missed. This is a rare document of Michael Rugg in the present day, playing mountain dulcimer. And also, Neal Hellman, his partner in crime. Just the first of a series of videos from the west coast dulcimer experience. I think you'll get a real kick out of these.
